Sörbyängsskolan!

Sörbyängsskolan is a small school in Örebro. It was built in 1984, that year the school only had classes 4-5, 9-12 year olds. But noawadays there are from kindergarten to 6th grades. There are 200 pupils and 25 teachers. Maria Montessoris pedagogy is a big part of Sörbyängsskolans education system. It means that they work a lot with their hands, instead of just reading and writing. We visited the school and talked to three boys who were firstgraders, and asked what they thought abou going to Sörbyängsskolan. We didn't get much information from them because they were energetic and talked about a whole lot of other thing. But after a while they did tell us that the food was good and the teachers were great. And we agree, because we have gone there from 2005 to 2008, 4th-6th grade. The school is very much for outdoor life. For example, our class used to go on trips to different places weekly. Although we didn't like it then, it was useful afterwards.
